Claude Borg runs a family run business in Wyndham. He has handled and dealt with birds for 30 years. The business holds two Victorian Government licenses which classifies the business as commercial dealers and wildlife controllers which allows them to buy and sell birds and to export locally and internationally. Melton Aviaries has in recent years worked closely with Austrade and the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) to exported to Malta, USA and Japan with considerable success. Happy Yappers Pty Ltd

Happy Yappers manufactures quality, hand-made dog biscuits from its Newport home-based premises. The founder and owner of the business, Ms Milly Parker began selling the biscuits commercially four years ago by cold calling local pet shops and in the first year had 40 clients. Today, that number has increased to over 100 retail outlets around Australia including a Christmas range through David Jones and on-line sales via its website happyappers.com.au. Happy Yappers has already made some in-roads into export markets and is selling its biscuits in the exclusive Harrods Department Store, in London. It has also had some recent export success in the Taiwan and New Zealand markets.
